The SCHUNK Family Day took place on Saturday, July 9, 2022. At both locations in Lauffen and Hausen, SCHUNK employees invited their families and close relatives to experience production, products and the company’s own training center up close.

On well-signposted tours equipped with many explanatory stations, approximately 3,500 visitors were able to gain an impression of their relatives‘ working world in the extensive plant and production halls. “From the office to manufacturing, we saw it all. It was mega interesting,” one visitor told us. “I can finally show my family where I spend my time every day,” said one employee.
Fun and games for the little ones
In addition to informative tours, there was also plenty of fun to be had. This was ensured by a varied supporting program. There were plenty of exciting attractions for guests both young and old – including an electric surfboard, two bouncy castles, and a mechanical bull. A special highlight for the little ones was the forklift course, which took quite a bit of skill and was popular with everyone. Food and drink were also well taken care of: a diverse selection of dishes and cool beverages was available from numerous food trucks. With summer-like temperatures, the ice cream was particularly well received not only with the little ones. The atmosphere was relaxed and familiar and characterized by great team spirit. “We are a very big family,” said one visitor. Kristina I.
