We present three highlight products from the SCHUNK product portfolio.

Greater stability in the toolholder
SCHUNK is enhancing the performance of existing toolholders with the Tool Guard intermediate sleeve for clamping different shank diameters. The active clamping system increases radial stiffness and reduces tool deflection during demanding machining processes. The dual pull-out protection ensures a secure grip even under high cutting forces, resulting in a more stable process. At the same time, the targeted coolant supply improves tool cooling. The intermediate sleeve is compatible with SCHUNK TENDO as well as standard hydraulic expansion toolholders and milling chucks.

Compensatory clamping
With the ROTA THW3 2+2, SCHUNK is expanding its chuck lineup to include a 2+2 solution with independently engaging pairs of jaws. Once the jaw pairs have made contact independently, the workpiece is clamped centrally with compensation. This allows round, cubic, and geometrically complex workpieces to be machined reliably in one system. The integrated quick jaw change allows for rapid adaptation to changing clamping tasks.

Automation made simple
Standardized, modular, and turnkey: GROW automation cells for various processes – such as sorting, separating, and laser marking – provide a fast route into automation. They are operated via an intuitive user interface, meaning that no robotics or programming knowledge is required. The GROW cells can be flexibly adapted to individual production requirements and integrated quickly. SCHUNK delivers them turnkey – including installation, commissioning, setup, and personalized training.
