FRANCE

New CoLab in France

Since Octo­ber, it has also been pos­si­ble to test the fea­si­bil­i­ty of appli­ca­tions in a real­is­tic envi­ron­ment at the head­quar­ters of the French sub­sidiary in Marne-la-Val­lée.

New man­age­ment and new office

Intec in Korea has moved to a new, pres­ti­gious build­ing and Intec Man­ag­er Young W. Choi start­ed there on July 1. He sets the course for growth.

SWEDEN

Open­ing CoLab

On Sep­tem­ber 13, the first CoLab ijn the Nordic region opened in Swe­den. Spe­cial fea­ture: the Swedish val­i­da­tion cen­ter coop­er­ates with “Öre­bro Uni­ver­si­ty.”

ITALY

New CoLab

On July 11, the doors to the new robot appli­ca­tion cen­ter opened at the SCHUNK sub­sidiary in Lurate Cac­civ­io near Como. The engi­neers at Europe‘s sec­ond CoLab, want to sup­port new­com­ers to automa­tion.

INDIA

Growth spurt

Intec in India moves into two more build­ings and expands sig­nif­i­cant­ly. “India is one of the most impor­tant mar­kets for SCHUNK,” says Man­ag­ing Direc­tor Satish Sada­si­van. “The addi­tion­al space will allow us to focus even more on the needs of our cus­tomers.”

BRAZIL

Branch office

To be clos­er to its cus­tomers, SCHUNK has opened a branch office in Joinville out­side the greater Sao Paulo area. The main office will remain in Mauá near Sao Paulo.

TAIWAN

Woman pow­er in Tai­wan

SCHUNK cel­e­brates not only the move to a new build­ing in Tai­wan, but also the first woman as Intec Man­ag­er! Grace Chen has been steer­ing the for­tunes of SCHUNK there since June 1.

AUSTRALIA

Syd­ney office

The new Gen­er­al Man­ag­er of Intec Aus­tralia, Peter Shep­herd, took over on June 14. He moved into his office south­west of Sydney‘s city cen­ter in a dynam­ic new indus­tri­al area. The Aus­tralian automa­tion indus­try is grow­ing.
