This makes them the ideal companion for process-reli­able work­piece clamping in confined spaces. Various pneu­matic moni­toring func­tions, optional clamping force ampli­fi­ca­tion for pneu­matic actu­a­tion and an exten­sive range of acces­sories make them perfectly suited for auto­mated use in the metal cutting industry.

Flex­ible and intel­li­gent

The new corro­sion-protected and low-wear universal gripper EGU is robust and versa­tile. For devi­ating work­piece weights, its power can be increased flex­ibly by up to 150% in Strong­Grip mode. The gripper for small compo­nents EGK, on the other hand, is the specialist for fragile work­pieces. This makes it the perfect gripper for elec­tronics manu­fac­turing and labo­ra­tory automa­tion.

Thanks to the variety of inter­faces, the two mecha­tronic grip­pers can be inte­grated quickly and easily into all systems with no effort.

Elec­tric debur­ring

Robot-assisted, many post-processing steps can be made more accu­rate, faster and more effi­cient. SCHUNK now offers the elec­tric debur­ring spindle RCE in addi­tion to its pneu­matic tools. This energy-effi­cient tool oper­ates partic­u­larly quietly and can cope with a wide variety of work­pieces due to the adjustable speed of rota­tion of up to 50,000 RPM and the adjustable contact force. Users can customize these para­me­ters to achieve optimal reworking results.
