CoLabs in Poland and Spain

Automa­tion increases produc­tivity and thus secures the compet­i­tive­ness of compa­nies. SCHUNK supports customers in 15 CoLabs world­wide with vali­dated automa­tion solu­tions to make it easier and safer to get started.

The Katowice (Poland) and Gipuzkoa (Spain) loca­tions are new addi­tions. In Poland, the focus at the opening on December 11, 2024 was on robot-assisted debur­ring.

Many processing steps can be auto­mated here, increasing effi­ciency and coun­ter­acting the shortage of skilled workers. The Spanish CoLab opened on December 3, 2024, with leading robotics part­ners such as ABB, KUKA, and Universal Robots. “With the new CoLabs, we are not only expanding our global compe­tence, but also strength­ening our posi­tion as a reli­able partner in the automa­tion industry,” empha­sizes Johannes Ketterer, COO/CSO of SCHUNK. “This is a crucial step in making automa­tion as simple and effi­cient as possible for our customers.
