If the digital trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion is to be a success for the German economy, it needs end-to-end networking and data sover\u00adeignty. These are the require\u00adments for new inno\u00adva\u00adtions and busi\u00adness models. Poli\u00adtics, busi\u00adness, science, and asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtions should now work together to create the neces\u00adsary stan\u00addards and frame\u00adwork condi\u00adtions for this.<\/p>\n

With the asset admin\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion shell stan\u00addard (Digital Twin) for Industry 4.0, the Euro\u00adpean initia\u00adtive \u201cGala\u2011X\u201d or the flag\u00adship project \u201cCatena\u2011X\u201d for digi\u00adtal\u00adizing the supply chains of the auto\u00admo\u00adtive industry, there are already basic building blocks, to build a federal data ecosystem \u201cManufacturing\u2011X.\u201d The inte\u00adgra\u00adtion of small and medium-sized enter\u00adprises through needs-based appli\u00adca\u00adtion concepts, in addi\u00adtion to inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal\u00adiza\u00adtion with global stan\u00addards, is a core goal.<\/p>\n

Building trust<\/h2>\n

Manufacturing\u2011X is leading the way to a sover\u00adeign data future. It will drive the devel\u00adop\u00adment of the neces\u00adsary tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies for open-source data ecosys\u00adtems forward and and will thereby initiate a cultural change. \u201cThe coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion and the open exchange are the basic condi\u00adtions for the success of the initia\u00adtive.
