Greater stability in the tool\u00adholder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SCHUNK is enhancing the perfor\u00admance of existing tool\u00adholders with the Tool Guard inter\u00adme\u00addiate sleeve for clamping different shank diam\u00ade\u00adters. The active clamping system increases radial stiff\u00adness and reduces tool deflec\u00adtion during demanding machining processes. The dual pull-out protec\u00adtion ensures a secure grip even under high cutting forces, resulting in a more stable process. At the same time, the targeted coolant supply improves tool cooling. The inter\u00adme\u00addiate sleeve is compat\u00adible with SCHUNK TENDO as well as stan\u00addard hydraulic expan\u00adsion tool\u00adholders and milling chucks.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compen\u00adsatory clamping
<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With the ROTA THW3 2+2, SCHUNK is expanding its chuck lineup to include a 2+2 solu\u00adtion with inde\u00adpen\u00addently engaging pairs of jaws. Once the jaw pairs have made contact inde\u00adpen\u00addently, the work\u00adpiece is clamped centrally with compen\u00adsa\u00adtion. This allows round, cubic, and geomet\u00adri\u00adcally complex work\u00adpieces to be machined reli\u00adably in one system. The inte\u00adgrated quick jaw change allows for rapid adap\u00adta\u00adtion to changing clamping tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
