I<\/span>n December 2020, SCHUNK put the CoLab in Brack\u00aden\u00adheim-Hausen into oper\u00ada\u00adtion. The idea behind it was to test SCHUNK prod\u00aducts real\u00adis\u00adti\u00adcally before they are used by the customer, demon\u00adstrating their feasi\u00adbility and thus reducing invest\u00adment risks. In less than a year, several hundred process steps have already been vali\u00addated for customers and opti\u00admized for successful deploy\u00adment.<\/p>\n

Digi\u00adtal\u00adiza\u00adtion is a sign of the times and SCHUNK\u2019s move towards appli\u00adca\u00adtions and thus closer to its customers came at exactly the right time. Now the company is exporting its successful concept to other coun\u00adtries: At the end of the year, SCHUNK opened two new CoLabs \u2014 in Shanghai, China, and in Morrisville, North Carolina, USA.<\/p>\n
