It was opened in August 2024. As customer-specific automa\u00adtion solu\u00adtions are in increasing demand in this indus\u00adtrial envi\u00adron\u00adment, SCHUNK Intec Mexico has local manu\u00adfac\u00adturing and assembly capac\u00adi\u00adties for the most impor\u00adtant compo\u00adnents and appli\u00adca\u00adtions. 350 guests attended the opening cere\u00admony: repre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtives from regional poli\u00adtics, partner compa\u00adnies, other SCHUNK subsidiaries, and the SCHUNK manage\u00adment.<\/p><\/div>\n

At the new loca\u00adtion in the tech\u00adnology parc of Santiago de Quer\u00e9\u00adtaro, 80 employees are now working to serve the North and South Amer\u00adican markets. SCHUNK antic\u00adi\u00adpates strong growth in the years to come.<\/p><\/div>\n

Shanghai, China<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The opening at the end of September 2024 marks the start of SCHUNK\u2019s new Chinese loca\u00adtion in Shanghai \u2013 an invest\u00adment in 7,200 square meters to expand the skills, tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies and capac\u00adi\u00adties on site. Locally, the focus is partic\u00adu\u00adlarly on the dynamic trend towards e\u2011mobility. Customers from this sector receive specific support in the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion of produc\u00adtivity-enhancing solu\u00adtions for the produc\u00adtion and assembly of elec\u00adtric drive train compo\u00adnents and in battery tech\u00adnology. The new loca\u00adtion is inte\u00adgrated into the inter\u00adna\u00adtional network and has the neces\u00adsary engi\u00adneering exper\u00adtise and all local capac\u00adi\u00adties to imple\u00adment customer-specific solu\u00adtions partic\u00adu\u00adlarly quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allhaming, Austria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In March 2024, SCHUNK Intec Austria opened a new CoLab in Allhaming and orga\u00adnized a cele\u00adbra\u00adtion together with partner compa\u00adnies and long-standing customers. In the CoLab, SCHUNK experts support customers and part\u00adners with their tasks and ques\u00adtions relating to automa\u00adtion and jointly develop vali\u00addated recom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adtions for increasing produc\u00adtivity. Customers also benefit from the fact that the 13 CoLabs around the world share expe\u00adri\u00adences and ideas with one another, which they then pass on locally. Work\u00adshops on various automa\u00adtion topics are also planned at the Austrian CoLab.
