It is time for the auto\u00admo\u00adtive industry to change lanes: from fossil fuels and combus\u00adtion engines with crank\u00adshafts, pistons and injector nozzles, to batteries and e\u2011drives with hairpin stators, shafts and rotors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chal\u00adlenge here lies in the fast and safe conver\u00adsion of the manu\u00adfac\u00adturing and assembly processes for the required compo\u00adnents. In addi\u00adtion, the steps for assembly, handling and produc\u00adtion in e\u2011car manu\u00adfac\u00adturing are not yet as stan\u00addard\u00adized as for internal combus\u00adtion vehi\u00adcles.
