Every\u00adthing stays the same for customers!<\/h3>\n<p>The company\u2018s offi\u00adcial name is now SCHUNK SE &amp; Co.KG. The SE stands for \u201cSoci\u00adetas Europaea\u201d, a legal form created in 2004 by the EU that makes it easier for compa\u00adnies to operate throughout Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Kristina I. Schunk, Chair\u00adwoman of the Manage\u00adment Board, says: \u201cThe SE was a logical step for us because it is a glob\u00adally recog\u00adnized legal form. We now have 34 foreign subsidiaries.\u201d In this respect, it was time to adapt the legal form accord\u00adingly.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"noTypo\">\u201cIt was important to us that all relevant functions will stay in family hands.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><cite>Henrik A. Schunk<\/cite><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Still a family-owned company<\/h2>\n<p>This step does not change the owner\u00adship struc\u00adture: SCHUNK remains 100 percent family-owned.
