Manufacturing\u2011X is preparing this data space for the indus\u00adtrial sector. This initia\u00adtive is focusing on designing needs-based appli\u00adca\u00adtion concepts for SMEs that are so simple that any supplier can incor\u00adpo\u00adrate them with very little effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The advan\u00adtages for customers are in the trans\u00adparency across the entire supply chain, in the simpli\u00adfied exchange for plan\u00adning and design, as well as in the constant avail\u00adability of current product data and infor\u00adma\u00adtion on updates.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the future, every company will have to provide infor\u00adma\u00adtion on the CO2<\/sub> foot\u00adprints for their prod\u00aducts. Manufacturing\u2011X will ensure that this infor\u00adma\u00adtion is already collected and exchanged throughout the supply chain. This will also result in increased resilience, as disrup\u00adtions can be addressed more quickly. Specif\u00adi\u00adcally, Manufacturing\u2011X and SCHUNK are also working on tools that can be used by plant manu\u00adfac\u00adturers to find optimal solu\u00adtions more quickly. They will also be able to use a variety of engi\u00adneering tools to plan factory equip\u00adment or develop and imple\u00adment systems and machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, these processes are complex and only feasible with non-inter\u00adop\u00ader\u00adable tools and design tools. Manufacturing\u2011X will simplify this process immensely by providing an easier exchange between compa\u00adnies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If SCHUNK customers want to install a gripper in their systems, they will be able to access SCHUNK prod\u00aducts directly from their own plan\u00adning or design tool. The design and config\u00adu\u00adra\u00adtion will still take place at SCHUNK, but the inter\u00adac\u00adtion will occur through the plan\u00adning tool. Networking between compa\u00adnies will ensure that the tech\u00adnical data is always current and that updates are auto\u00admatic \u2013 without any info\u00admails or noti\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtions.
